Get Out: Movie, Flea Market and Author Series

Here are five events to check out this weekend.

1.
Where/When: , 8:45 p.m. on Friday.
Why Go: Bring the family to Dormont Park for the viewing of “Despicable Me,” rated G.
Pricing: Free.

2.
Where?/When?: , 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Why Go?: Come to the July 14th Flea Market at Dormont United Methodist Church. The event will include opportunities to purchase gently used items, live music, face painting, and delicious food from the cafe. Tables available for vendors. Proceeds benefit ministries. Donations are being accepted by the church. Contact DUMC by email at dormontumchurch@verizon.net

Where?/When?: at 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Why Go?: Join Janice Jones, as she Zombies up youths with creative make-up and T-shirts to “Own The Night”. This program is for young adults in sixth grade and up. There is a limit of 20 participants. Registration is requested for this program. To register, please call 412-531-8754 or ask at the front desk.

Where?/When?: , 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Why Go?: There will be open flea market/craft shows from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Brookline Park. Free spots are available.  Bring your own table!

5.
Where?/When?: , 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Why Go?: Matt Demas will be signing the The Fall of Pittsburgh as part of the Summer of Scares events. .
