Memorial Day Weekend Planner

Here are five events to check out during Memorial Day weekend.

1.
Where/When: PNC Park, 7:05 p.m. on Friday
Why Go: Enjoy Memorial Day Weekend at PNC Park! Bring the family and cheer on the Pirates as they take on Chicago Cubs.
Pricing: Tickets start at $7

2.
Where?/When?: Main St and Logan St, Carnegie, PA, 9 a.m. on Sunday
Why Go?: The Law Enforcement Torch Run Committee for Special Olympics PA and the City of Pittsburgh Citiparks will host the first ever 6K on the Busway in support of over 20,000 Special Olympics PA Athletes! They welcome runners and walkers of all levels, as well as families! Registration starts at 7:30 a.m.
Pricing: $25 per runner $20 per walker $60 family of 4

3.
Where/When: Hamilton Park, 2 to 10 p.m. on Sunday
Why Go?: The Community Day will be fun for the entire family with venues including the bands Johnny Angel & The Halos, The Stickers, Kenny Blake & The WitchDoctors and The Rhythms of Life. Free parking and shuttle will begin at 2 p.m. at the C.SV.F.D. Memorial Hall at 3600 Library Road. There will also be plenty of vendors, free children's games and reptiles shows with the night concluding with fireworks by Pyrotechnio.

4.
Where?/When?: , 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday
Why Go?: This class is perfect introduction to the basic belly dance moves for the newcomer and a good review for all levels.  We also work on conditioning elements to tone and strengthen the whole body and an easy to learn routine at the end of class!  
Pricing: $15  

5.
Where?/When?: at 10 a.m. on Monday
Why Go?: The South Hills Memorial Day Parade starts at 10 a.m. on Brookline Blvd at the Cannon and continues to Pioneer Ave, through Dormont to Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
