Get Out: Drum Circle, Concert and KO Football Camp

Here are five events to check out this weekend.

1.
Where/When: , 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday
Why Go: George Guest of InnerBeat Drum School will be doing Trial Drum Lessons this summer at Dormont Park.  This will be a great chance to meet George and to better understand drum lessons in general.  These trial lessons at the park are free of charge and they occur on weekday afternoons during the summer.

Where?/When?: South Park Amphitheater, 7:30 p.m. Friday
Why Go?: Enjoy beautiful South Park with the family while listening to the blues entertainment by the Glen Pavone Tribute featuring the Nighthawks.

3.
Where/When: , 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: The Keystone Oaks Area Youth Football Program will be holding a mini camp for players 6 – 13 years of age. The clinic will be conducted by local high school players/coaches and scheduled to attend, a special guest appearance by an NFL player. The camp will cover blocking, passing, practice organization, and all the fundamentals. For more information, .

Where?/When?: , 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Dormont Baseball will hold a car wash in the Dormont Pool Parking Lot. Donations will be appreciated.

5.
Where?/When?: at 11 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Join the library for the Summer Reading Kick-Off Party, featuring a special presentation of Owl Detectives. Meet and greet with a Bird of the Night with special guests from Pittsburgh’s National Aviary!
