Dormont 2013 Street Sweeping Begins

The month of May marks the official start of street sweeping—and related parking enforcement—in Dormont. A schedule is attached.

With the first of May comes an official street sweeping schedule for Dormont Borough, and related parking restrictions will be enforced.

Street sweeping began in the borough in April, but ticketing for street sweeping-related parking violations was not enforced to give residents a chance to adjust to the new schedule. Violators will be ticketed, beginning May 1.

Street sweeping will occur once a month, on designated days, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. All cars should be removed from both sides of the street.
