Dogs Allowed in Dormont Borough Parks

Dormont Council voted earlier this month to allow dogs in the borough's parks. Have you taken your pup for an adventure yet?

Dogs—previously banned from Dormont's parks—are now free to explore the areas, provided their owners follow a few rules.

voted earlier this month to allow dogs in borough-owned parks, as long as they remain on a leash and are kept on walkways, roads or trails, or immediately adjacent to those areas.

Dogs still are not allowed on or near playground areas, and are not allowed on baseball or sports fields. Owners must clean up after their pets.
