Brookline Water Break to be Fixed This Week

A water line break that has Brookline residents upset should be fixed this week, according to a WPXI report.

A Brookline water line break reported about a month ago still hasn't been fixed, according to a report by WPXI, and residents in the area are upset.

The break at the intersection of Brookline Boulevard and Whited Street was reported more than three weeks ago, one resident told WPXI, and although the resident was told someone would be out to fix it, water continues to flow.

Residents in the area told WPXI that there is a bus stop in the area and that children have to cross the water to catch the bus. The road is starting to cave in and cracks are widening, allowing more water to run down the street, they said.
