Boulevard Barrier Moves to 900 Block

Notice something missing on Brookline Boulevard?

The gates are nearly all down from the 500, 600, and 800 blocks of the Boulevard, freeing the storefronts in those blocks from their time “behind the barrier.”

New sidewalks are in place, and parking spaces have been designated in the 500 and 600 block, complete with kiosk pay stations.

Crews from Facchiano Construction continue to work in the area, and Pittsburgh police officers are stationed in the areas of the Boulevard to direct traffic when needed.

The barrier has moved down the street. Fencing is up and parking is restricted in the 900 block of Brookline Boulevard.

The barrier sits in front of the following storefronts: Fox’s Pizza; Office of State Rep. Erin Molchany; Mazza Pavillion; Office of State Sen. Wayne Fontana; Hair by Conroy; A Boss Opticians; Armand’s Frame Shoppe, Chuong’s Cleaners; Daree Salam African Market; Three Rivers Martial Arts; and Beach Treats Gifts.
