What's Up With Pittsburgh? International Codes?

What’s Up With Pittsburgh?  International Codes?

As we all know Pittsburgh is one of the most livable cities in the U.S.; plus, Pittsburgh is not Detroit.  How many times recently have we heard this in the media?  Pittsburgh adjusted to the ending of the steel industry and moved on to other “things”, such as, education, technology, health care and so on; 20th and 21st Century skills essential in making Pittsburgh the envy of the world.  And of course, we have ball parks, which, by the way, no one really wanted.  I wonder how the city acquired them.

But, as I was moving in my life from Point A to Point B, I found out some questionable, if not disturbing, “things” about the City.  Some of you may be already aware of these “things”.  I believe these “things” should be at least mentioned.

These “things” happen to be the fact that Pittsburgh is governed by INTERNATIONAL CODES, WHICH IN MY BOOK ARE LAWS.  These codes subject the “citizen” of Pittsburgh to prosecution if the codes are not followed.

Now, I wonder how this came about.  Could it be outside forces preying on the City’s leaders---, could it be that the city is all about globalization, you know the new world order stuff---, could it be that the city is ignoring the basic concepts of governance in the United States and in Pennsylvania.

This situation also brings up the question as to whether or not other cities are doing the same thing, initiating international “whatevers” into the laws and legal structure of their city. What is intriguing is what international organization do these codes fall under?  And, why is the United States and state governments permitting these “codes” to “creep” into the legal structure.

So what can be done?  Contact your city rep---contact the mayor-----contact your neighborhood civic group-----------shouldn’t you at least question this----I have right now?

I also wonder if Pittsburgh is a sanctuary city……..another question.
