Service Scholarship Available

The end of the school year is fast approaching for high school seniors. This is a good time for all graduating seniors to apply for any grants or scholarships that are available.
If you are a graduating senior who resides in Dormont, PA and have shown a true commitment of actively serving others through your school, church and/or community, you are encouraged to apply now for the William and Muriel Reynolds Moreland scholarship. This scholarship has been established to honor William Moreland, former mayor of Dormont, and Muriel Reynolds Moreland, former educator at Keystone Oaks and current president of the Dormont Historical Society, in recognition of their lifetime commitment to the citizens of the borough of Dormont as exemplified by their leadership, volunteerism and philanthropy. Applications are available through Keystone Oaks High School from the office of the principal or the guidance department.

Anyone wishing to make a tax deductible contribution to the William and Muriel Reynolds Moreland Scholarship can submit their donation to The Pittsburgh Foundation, Five PPG Place, Suite 250, Pittsburgh, PA 15222-5414. Please include “Moreland Scholarship Fund” on the memo line of the check.
