Dear parents,

My name is  Marta Pena, resident of Brookline and mother of two children.  My job is to help families who are looking for live-in childcare, and to place wonderful Au Pairs with these families.

• An au pair is a live-in nanny here on an exchange visa (J-1). She/ he has verified childcare experience, checked references, and background checks.  Au Pairs are between the ages of 18-26.  They have their own health insurance, and Driver’s License.

• Most families choose an au pair over a nanny because it is usually less expensive ($8.40/hr), and their working hours are more flexible.

•My job is to accompany your family and au pair all throughout the time you live together.  I also coordinate social and cultural events for the Brookline au pairs every month.
