VFW members around the country mentor youth groups, help in community food kitchens, volunteer in blood drives and visit hospitalized veterans. The Dormont VFW is linked to the state's VA hospitals, Pennsylvania Veterans Affairs, The American Legion, AMVETS and Disabled American Veterans.
