Here are unofficial election results for Dormont Borough, Keystone Oaks School Board and City of Pittsburgh offices.
Dormont, Brookline and Keystone Oaks School District voters went to the polls on Tuesday to select the candidates who will run in the fall general election. In Dormont, former police Chief Phil Ross will run unopposed in the fall for mayor of Dormont. To see the unofficial primary election results for mayor and for Dormont Council, click here. There are a number of new names on the ballot for Keystone Oaks School Board. With the exception of incumbent Lisa Cancelliere, who is a Democrat, all other candidates cross-filed. William Peduto will be the Democratic candidate for Pittsburgh mayor in the fall general election.
Bill Peduto will be the Democratic candidate for Pittsburgh mayor in the fall general election after defeating Jack Wagner. Peduto garnered 52 percent of the Democratic votes to Wagner's 40 percent. The two were predicted to be the Democratic front runners in the race. To see Peduto's victory speech on WPXI-TV, click here. Also running were Democrats Jake Wheatley, who captured 8 percent of the Democratic votes and A.J. Richardson, who got 1 percent. The deadline for Dormont and Brookline residents who need an absentee ballot for the upcoming May 21 primary election is Tuesday, May 14. Applications must be completed and returned to the Elections Division no later than 5 p.m. Absentee ballots are available to registered voters who will be absent from their municipality on May 21 or those who cannot reach the polls due to an illness or physical disability. Applications can be requested through the mail or for fastest results, requested and filled out in person at the Allegheny County Elections Division, 601 County Office Building, 542 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. If properly registered, voters will be handed an absentee ballot to vote on the spot, which only takes a few minutes…

If you're new, if you've moved, if you've changed names or parties, you must register.
Pennsylvania residents who wish to vote in the upcoming May 21 primary elections must be registered by Monday, April 22. Registered voters who have moved or changed their names or party affiliations must also notify their counties' elections divisions of their changes by April 22. An individual must be registered in a political party in order to vote in that party's primary. In order to qualify to vote in Pennsylvania, one must be a U.S. citizen at least one month prior to the primary, a resident of the state and his or her election district at least 30 days prior to the primary, and 18 years of age on or before the day of the primary. Mayor Lloyd directed Ross to turn off the GPS units and Ross got demoted for following the Mayor's order. The OT is due to under-staffing. Don't know about being over budget or being highest paid. It's related to the OT though. His lawsuit was due to the demotion-- which was proven to be wrongful by the Civil Service Commission.
