It's pothole season.

The freeze-thaw cycles are creating bone crunching, kidney punching potholes on many local roads—and Dormont and Brookline are no exception. I drove through a wicked one on Brookline Boulevard earlier this week.

Fortunately, it doesn't have to be this way. Here are a couple ways to let your local road crews know where the problems are:

• Patch map: Click on "report an issue" directly below the map above to report where the worst potholes are located. You can also zoom in or out on the map to see more specific locations. Dormont-Brookline Patch will then share the link to this story with PennDOT, Allegheny County and the local public works departments so they know where repairs are needed most.
