February is kindergarten registration month in the Keystone Oaks School District, and if your little one is ready to start his or her academic career, here's what you need to know!
- Dormont’s registration will be Tuesday, Feb. 19 and Wednesday, Feb. 20 from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. at the elementary school. An additional kindergarten registration window will be available to Dormont residents from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20. No appointment is necessary to register.
Fred. L. Aiken Elementary School
- Aiken’s registration will be held Tuesday, Feb. 12 and Wednesday, Feb. 13, from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. at the elementary school. An additional kindergarten registration window will be available to Green Tree residents from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12. No appointment is necessary to register.
Myrtle Avenue Elementary School
- Myrtle’s registration will be held Tuesday, Feb. 26 and Wednesday, Feb. 27 from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. at the elementary school. An additional kindergarten registration window will be available to Castle Shannon residents from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27. No appointment is necessary to register.
To register, parents or guardians should bring their child's health, dental and immunization records, as well as the child's proof of age. Parents or guardians of newly enrolled students will also be asked to produce two proofs of residency.

so I wish I would have seen this article on FB like I do all the rest, or that there was some other kind of notification. I just missed registering my son yesterday because I had not seen the sign by the pool. = ( I knew this month was it only from an article without dates in a KO magazine of some kind that I happen to look at and find inbetween all the ads. I did go to the KO website a couple times that only made it seem like registration was an open thing anytime with certain days and only early time slots...
