Rush-Hour Accident Reported on Pioneer Avenue
This accident occurred near the Pioneer-Northcrest intersection in Brookline.
A traffic accident sent a driver through a Brookline guardrail during rush hour Thursday morning.
According to reports from WPXI, the accident occurred around 9 a.m. along Pioneer Avenue between the intersections with Northcrest and Southcrest drives. An SUV went through the guardrail, also damaging a tree.
Trisha Pittman of WPXI told Dormont-Brookline Patch via Twitter that the accident was expected to be cleared quickly.

This report: http://www.wpxi.com/news/news/local/woman-loses-control-car-nearly-flies-over-pittsbur/nWJD5/ says the driver was driving "up a hill" prior to the crash. Not sure how this happened. At noon, WPXI reported they'd have a full story at 5 p.m.
