Restaurant Spotlight: New Winter Menu at Sugar Cafe
Some tasty changes are coming to the cafe, starting this weekend.
If you're headed to Sugar Cafe for brunch this weekend, you'll see some new and tasty changes to the menu.
In addition to the usual delicious coffee, pastries and breakfast staples, the Potomac Avenue restaurant will now offer such goodies as a roasted eggplant sandwich, country ham sandwich, and home-made maccaroni and cheese.
Employee Brandon Sachs said the cafe just wanted to make a few seasonal changes to the menu, and is planning to change it up again in April to introduce more spring-friendly foods.
The new menu is attached to this article.

Really sad to read they are closing this weekend! Really wanted to try the roasted eggplant sandwich with some of my favorite cookies, the Lavender French Macarons, but alas, I was too late in planning my trip back home! :(

I'm bummed about it, too. I will miss their lavender cupcakes! Never had anything like it before.
