Some PNC Bank customers have reported problems Thursday logging into their online accounts.
The Post-Gazette is reporting that the Pittsburgh-based institution apparently is the latest victim in a wave of cyber attacks on major U.S. banks.
Bank spokesman Fred Solomon told the Post-Gazette Thursday morning that if a customer can't reach the website or log-in on the first attempt, the customer should just return to the site a little later. He said some people also were having problems accessing mobile banking.
Local PNC Bank locations include branches on West Liberty Avenue in Dormont and on Brookline Boulevard in Brookline.
