Christmas carolers, holiday decorations and a Nativity scene with live animals graced Brookline Boulevard on Saturday evening for Celebrate the Season, the community's version of Light Up Night.

The evening featured story time and crafts at Carnegie Library, caroling, a live Nativity scene and a petting zoo on Brookline Boulevard, and a hot chocolate social at Cannon Coffee.

Even Santa Clause showed up at Melissa Distel Photography Studio, and heard gift requests from good boys and girls.
