Penguins to Start Playoffs at Home

The team clinched home ice advantage and the No. 4 seed in the upcoming NHL Eastern Conference playoffs.

It's that time of year again—the Stanley Cup playoffs are upon us!

The Pittsburgh Penguins first playoff game will be tomorrow, Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m.

The Pens clinched both home ice advantage and the No. 4 seed in the upcoming NHL Eastern Conference playoffs—they defeated the New York Rangers, 5-2, Thursday night.

On Saturday, the Penguins defeated the Philadelphia Flyers, 4-2, in the regular season finale at Consol Energy Center.

The Pens will host the No. 5 seeded Philadelphia Flyers—a team they’ve traditionally had bad blood against. The first and second games will be hosted at Consol Energy Center.

Evgeni Malkin finished the year as the leading scorer in the NHL.

What are you doing for the game? And how do you think the Pens will fare against the Flyers?
