More Charges Filed Against Former Castle Shannon Priest
Rev. Bartley Sorensen, who was charged with possessing illegal pornography last week, now faces new charges.
WPXI reports that Rev. Bartley Sorensen, formerly of St. Anne Church in Castle Shannon and now of St. John Fisher Parish in Churchill, faces new charges in addition to charges filed last week after a church employee reportly saw him looking at porn.
According to WPXI's report, Sorensen was found to be in possession of compact dics containing more than 5,000 child pornography images, two child pornography videos, pictures and books that were found when police searched St. John Fisher Parish.
Sorensen has been removed from active ministry and placed on administrative leave.

At this point, you have to assume that all priests are pedophiles. Some have been caught, but most are getting away with it.
Or you can have faith in Catholic priests and put your children with pedophiles and other priests that protect pedophiles.

Church officials can not always be trusted to have our children’s best interest at heart.
If you have knowledge or have been harmed by Sorenson, please report it to the police, not church officials. Crimes against kids, however old, should be investigated by the independent professionals in law enforcement, not the biased amateurs in church offices.
Also, know that you are not alone, and there is hope, help, and a chance to protect kids.
