Fire companies from Dormont and Castle Shannon joined Mt. Lebanon firefighters in battling the blaze.
TRAFFIC UPDATE (3:39 p.m.): All of McNeilly Road has been reopened.
A Thursday morning fire at a McNeilly Road home in Mt. Lebanon killed two people.
The Post-Gazette is reporting that crews were dispatched to 916 McNeilly Rd. about 7:20 a.m.
Mt. Lebanon police Deputy Chief Mike Gallagher said the house was completely engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
In addition to Mt. Lebanon firefighters, fire companies from Dormont and Castle Shannon boroughs also responded.
The Allegheny County fire marshal is investigating the cause and origin of the fire, but the blaze is not suspicious, according to the Post-Gazette.
Also according to the P-G, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office identified the couple as Dennis Miller, 61, and his wife, Susan Miller, 56.
The Allegheny County Assessment Web page lists the Millers as owners of 916 McNeilly since 1975.

These tragic events really sting during the Holidays. Any news on who these two unlucky folks were? Prayers for both of them.

My gosh. Wonder if these are relatives of Dennis Miller the comedian, actor, etc. He was from that area and went to Keystone Oaks. Praying for this family.

Doubtful. The comedian is 59 and this victim was 61. Plus its a pretty common name in the area.
