With the back-to-school rush about to begin, here are some important dates in the Keystone Oaks School District that you might want to add to your August calendar:

Tuesday, Aug. 14

• An Education Committee meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the board conference room at Keystone Oaks High School.

Tuesday, Aug. 21

• Kindergarten orientation will be held at Dormont Elementary School from 8:30 to 10 a.m., and from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Thursday, Aug. 23

• Meet the Teacher night will be held at Dormont Elementary from 6 to 8 p.m.
• The school board's business/legislative meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the board conference room at Keystone Oaks High School.

Monday, Aug 27

• It's the first day of school!
