A true mentor.. Not enough words can describe OUR coach and teacher. I can say some of us kids only had our coaches as father figures and the kids after he left KO have no clue what a man he was. Thanks Coach Kling!!!

He will be sorely missed. He was a great mentor to a lot of kids. My condolences to his loved ones.

I knew Dave pretty well, and both my boys wrestled for him. Great guy, great mentor, and knew how to work with parents too. I never heard a disparaging remark made about the man. RIP, Dave. You touched hundreds of lives, perhaps even thousands.

Erin can you find out if KO plans any type of memorial/recognition of Mr. Kling and his career as they did for Mr. O'Donnel and Mr. Armitage? As a teacher for 30+ years and a coach of four different varsity sports, he touched thousands and thousands of lives. His legacy is certainly deserving of the same treatment that the other men received.
