Forecast Calls for 3-5 Inches of Snow

The National Weather forecast has issued a winter weather advisory through 6 p.m. Friday.

A word to the wise: Be careful out there today.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory through 6 p.m. for the area—with between 3 and 5 iches of snow expected by tonight.

Flakes are expected to begin falling around 10 a.m., with “areas of blowing snow possible.”

And that weather may snarl traffic, so exercise caution on your daily commute to and from work, or wherever your travels take you today.

“Dangerous travel conditions are expected due to quickly falling temperatures icing over roads followed by strong winds and snow showers,” the National Weather Services indicated on its website.
