Facebook Page is Connection to Brookline History

A Facebook page connected to the Brookline Connection website is a quick and easy way to learn more about Brookline's history.

Did you know that a duplex on Bodkin Street was the original St. Marks Lutheran Church?

Or that the 1979-1980 Our Lady of Loreto Lady Lions—led by future Olympian Suzie McConnell—was undefeated and captured the 1980 State baskeball championship?

Those pieces of Brookline history and more can be found easily on a Facebook page dedicated to recording and preserving the history of Brookline.

The Brookline Connection Facebook page is connected to the Brookline Connection website, which is run by native Brookliner Clint Burton.

Burton's website includes longer and more detailed historical accounts of Brookline buildings, organizations and people. But the Facebook page is updated with several interesting snipets a day, including old photos.

Click here to check out the Facebook page and share your own Brookline memories.
