Eljay’s Books to Host Horror Genre Book Signings

Pittsburghers seeking a nice midsummer fright are in luck. and Horror Realms are  hosting a Summer of Scares Author series for the second year in a row.

Throughout the months of July and August four different authors in the horror genre will be signing books and sharing writing tips at Eljay’s Books, a used and speciality book shop in . The author series was created to highlight the upcoming Horror Realms convention September 21 to the 23.

Each signing is free and includes refreshments.

Authors sharing their spooktastic writings include Matt Demas, author of The Fall of Pittsburgh; Lucy Leitner, author of the zombie novel, Working Stiffs; author of many Do-It-Yourself type novels, Christine Soltis; and author of the vampire novel, Immortyl Revolution, Denise Verrico.

Also in keeping with the spirit, Eljay’s Books will offer 20 percent off used horror novels every Tuesday and Saturday during the months of July and August.

Schedule for the Summer of Scares:

July 14th at 2pm: Matt Demas signs the The Fall of Pittsburgh.

July 21st at 2pm: Lucy Leitner signs Working Stiffs.

July 28th: Eljay’s co-owner Chris Rickert and Horror Realm author Christine Soltis will answer publishing and marketing questions for the Do-It-Yourself oriented author. Christine Soltis will also be signing books.

August 18th at 2pm: Denise Verrico signs Immortyl Revolution.
