Dormont Man Jailed for Making Terroristic Threats
A preliminary hearing will be held this week for a man who threatened to kill employees at MIB Entertainment.
A Dormont man is awaiting his preliminary hearing in Allegheny County Jail after he threatened to kill employees inside MIB Entertainment on West Liberty Avenue last week.
Dormont police came to the store just after 5 p.m. on Aug. 20, when the owner called to report that an apparently intoxicated man—identified as Michael Mann, 42, of Dormont—came into the store trying to sell speakers and other equipment.
Mann was asked to return when he was sober, and then began threatening to kill the owner and other store employees, according to the police report. A number of patrons were reportedly in the store at the time.
Police said that Mann continued to yell profanity and threaten the officers, and had to be physically restrained after he resisted arrest.
Mann was charged with public drunkenness, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and making terroristic threats.
He failed to post a $75,000 bail, and is in Allegheny County Jail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 30.

It was closed for several weeks, but re-opened this month in the same location.

I don't understand how this place can still be open. How many times can you get in trouble for selling stolen merchandise before you permanently get shut down.

You should tell us where this man lives, I believe we have a right to know if a terrorist cell lives on our block, in case their safehouse explodes or something.

It is sad but I think this person has had a drinking problem for years and is no more a terrorist than you are...he's an alcoholic not a terrorist.

It's not hard to see how someone could loose their temper dealing with those guys in the first place.
