Dormont Historical Society Museum Opens for Rare Weekend Hours
Take advantage of this opportunity on Saturday.
Dormont Historical Society's museum in the basement of the Dormont Municipal Center will be open to the public on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Muriel Moreland, society president, said opportunities to view all the treasures of Dormont past are generally limited to Thursdays, when the museum is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This weekend, the museum is offering the special hours to accommodate Dormont High School alumni who are in town for a reunion.
Museum tours can also be arranged by appointment when volunteers are available.
