Dormont Council Meets Tonight

Council plans to hire a solicitor and an interim borough manager.

A special meeting, originally intended for discussion of sewer issues, will be a voting meeting today, Tuesday, March 13.

Dormont Council plans to vote this evening to consider the appointments of a borough solicitor and interim borough manager. The votes will be followed by an engineering update regarding the sewer system.

Council President Bill McCartney told Dormont-Brookline Patch on March 7 that council had unofficially chosen the law firm of Dodaro, Matta & Cambest to represent the borough.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the seminar room on the lower level of Dormont Municipal Center on Hillsdale Avenue.

A legal notice regarding the meeting appeared in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on Friday, March 9.
