Dormont Council to Hire Police Chief
Dormont Council plans to vote today to hire Sgt. Michael Bisignani as the borough's new police chief.
The Dormont Council meeting agenda for today, Feb. 4, includes a vote to hire a new borough police chief.
Council plans to vote on hiring current Dormont police Sgt. Michael Bisignani for the position of Chief at a salary of $90,492.42.
Chief Phil Ross announced last fall that he planned to retire early in 2013.

Wow! Big meeting planning to spend $222,000 of tax payer money. Well at least it wasn't like last month's meeting where we spend $261,000. How much does the borough save over the next 5 years with that vehicle lift? Time and attendance software. what is wrong with what they have now and how much does this save the borough. Grab a seat early for the big reveal of who is joining the planning commission. Come on people.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Only other person I'd like to see in the position is Duane Moriarty (sorry if I spelled that wrong) of the current staff.
