Crested Duck Named 'Good Food' Finalist
The Beechview restaurant was nominated for a 'Good Food Award.'
A Beechview restaurant was nominated for a 'Good Food Award,' according to the PG Plate website.
Crested Duck Charcuterie, located on Broadway Avenue, is a finalist for the 2013 Good Food Awards. Awards are given in nine categories to American food producers and farmers in five regions of the United States. Nominees are those who support local sustainability as well as social good.
The Crested Duck hosted the Taste of Beechview earlier this year.
Boyd & Blair Potato Vodka, which is sold throughout Pennsylvania, also was nominated.
