A drug bust Thursday morning in Brookline netted $43,000 worth of heroin, as well as marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to Pittsburgh Police.

Police, including narcotics detectives and a SWAT unit, arrested three people at a residence in the 400 block of Winterhill Street, after a month-long investigation, and receiving numerous complaints of illegal drug activity in the area.

According to Pittsburgh Police, the following items were seized from the residence:

• Four ounces of uncut heroin, with a street value of $36,000.
• 700 stamp bags of heroin, with a street value of $7,000.
• Two ounces of marijuana, with a street value of $600.
• A .40 caliber Taurus PT140 handgun.
• Various paraphernalia and packaging material for the sale of heroin.

Robert Anthony Agurs, 24, of Garfield; Demetrius Williams, 21, of Beltzhoover; and Jennifer Jenkins, 25, of Brookline were arrested and taken to Allegheny County Jail.

Each was charged with the following: possession of narcotics (heroin and marijuana); possession with intent to deliver (heroin and marijuana) and conspiracy. Williams and Agurs also were charged with illegally possessing a firearm.

Preliminary hearings for all three are scheduled for March 6 at 8 a.m. before Judge Donna Jo McDaniel.
