Armed Robber Hits Vocelli Pizza in Dormont

The robber got away with nearly $700, local media reports.

 

An armed robber stole nearly $700 from Vocelli Pizza in Dormont on Sunday night, WTAE and KDKA report.

According to WTAE, a man walked into the West Liberty Avenue store around 10:40 p.m. with a handgun and took money from the register. Dormont police are investigating.

The man is described as a thin, white male, 5'8", who was wearing a hooded sweatshirt pulled over his head.

Those with information are asked to contact Dormont police at 412-561-8900, ext. 300.
