GREEN TREE WELCOMES ITS NEWEST JUNIOR COUNCIL PERSON
Green Tree welcomes their newest Jr. Council Member, Chandrasekar Muthiah, and 11th grader at Keystone Oaks High School. Chandra was officially sworn in by Mayor Hammer at Green Tree’s December 3, 2012 Council Meeting and will serve until May of 2013.
As an 11th grader at Keystone Oaks High School and junior class president, Chandra enjoys being part of both the soccer and tennis teams. In addition, he is Student Senate vice president, Future Business Leaders of America region treasurer, Spanish Club treasurer and is also active in Peer Jury, Health Careers Club, Academic Team, Science Team, and Math Club.
Chandra recently qualified in Parliamentary Procedure at the PA FBLA Regional Leadership Conference hosted by Keystone Oaks, which enables him to attend the PA State Leadership Conference in Hershey in April.
Chandra lives with his parents, Muthiah Arunachalam and Geetha Muthiah and has one brother, who is studying pre-med at St. Bonaventure University. Chandra hopes to be a doctor as well. Other than volunteering as a patient escort at St. Clair Hospital, and teaching tennis clinics during the summer, Chandra enjoys just spending time with friends and family and is extremely honored to have been selected as the junior council member.
